Italian Real Estate Assist (IREA) Italian Real Estate Assist (IREA) is a specialized international consultancy focused on helping you purchase the property of your dreams in Italy. What’s unique about IREA is that we have built a partnership between an American couple who have purchased their dream property in Italy, and two boutique Italian real estate agencies with offices covering the Marche, Umbria, and Emilia-Romagna regions of Italy. Because we were so impressed with the family that owns the agencies and their relationships with local sellers and remodeling services providers in these regions, we felt driven to build a specialty consulting offering in conjunction with them. What are the benefits of working with IREA? We’re You! Because we’ve “been there” we can help make the purchase of your dream property a much more simple, straightforward, and worry free process. We know what excites you, but we also know the issues that concern you regarding purchase of a foreign property. We’ve seen others like you who were excited about foreign property ownership get stopped in their tracks simply by the language barrier or the differences in the way Italians sell and convey title to properties. We Can Help With Everything! We can help you with everything from your initial trip to evaluate the possibility of purchasing a property – evaluation assistance – to the completion of a successful purchase. We will be there to guide you through the entire process from start to finish: property analysis, negotiation, offer to buy, payment, legal matters, and closing. Additionally, we can help with the startup of utilities, furnishing your property, renovations, and rental services, in addition to any other assistance required. We’re On Your Side You pay for our consulting services like you would the services of a doctor, lawyer or accountant. We have no financial interest related to the purchase of your property whatsoever. There is no “markup” or no increased commission. You will pay for your property just as if you were an Italian buyer. We charge for our assistance on a fee for service basis regardless of whether you purchase a property or not. We work as your advocate to make sure you get the price for locals, as opposed to the price for strangers (“straneri”). We’re Cost Conscious Prices of properties in the currently most known area of Italy - Tuscany - are outrageous. We've chosen to focus on regions in Italy that wrap themselves around Tuscany's east side (see the link to the left for a map of the regions of Italy). These regions are The Marche, Umbria, and Emilia-Romagna. They have every bit (and we feel more) of the historic charm, fabulous food, superb wines, and warm people of Tuscany, but at a fraction of the purchase price.
