About Us 
About Us We became interested in Italy through a close friend who was born there and who married Judy's best friend. While taking our first family trip to Italy in 1996, the love affair began. Mark learned Italian on his own, using CDs and cassettes, and with the help of his close Italian friends. After renting apartments for extended vacations during summers, we completed the purchase of our first Italian property in 2005, a renovated apartment in a historic building in the beach resort town of Fano, in the Marche region of Italy. Fano is located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea about a 3 hour drive south of Venice. Mark owns his own Information Technology consulting and executive search business, while Judy has a successful career in the Information Technology industry working for one of the "3 letter" giants of the industry.
